The word solstice comes from the Latin sol (sun) and sistere (to stand still). In the Southern Hemisphere, the Summer Solstice falls on December 21 or 22, and in the Northern Hemisphere, falls on June 20 or 21.
The Summer Solstice is a celebration of light, whichsymbolises motivation to look within ourselves and to do something new that aligns with our beliefs. Notes:
- Print using your home printer or with a local printer that offers fine art printing. I recommend using a thicker matte paper with minimal texture, however any white paper works fine. Please remember different printers have different print qualities depending on the printer, inks and also paper used. Therefore the image may turn out slightly different because of that.
